Who Is Hayward Banes LaChapelle?

Hayward Banes LaChapelle is the pen name of J. Thomas Johnson. He was born in North Uxbridge, Massachusetts in the 1970s. He graduated with a degree in English Literature from Gordon College in Wenham, MA. Though he has written in other genres under J. Thomas Johnson for many years, he began writing professionally in fiction under the name Hayward Banes LaChapelle in 2025.
